Jason is originally from the US but has been living in Tartu for over four years. He’s started at UT for his study abroad during his BA, completed his MA, and is now working on his PhD in Semiotics. He studies the perception of cuteness in animals and cartoon characters. In the rare moments he has free time he enjoys origami, street art, and vogue dancing. Tartu might be considered the intellectual capital of Estonia, but it is more than just a place to study. This talk will discuss the thriving international community, cultural events, and how to have fun in Tartu when your not busy studying.
